Welcome and Recent Developments
Welcome! We’re excited and delighted to have you here with us on the website—and to be reading our inaugural post—with the book itself launching on February 18, which is just 99 days from when I’m writing this.
This will be the active living part of the website, where we hope to regularly post items of interest related to the book and to microdosing generally. Some of the posts will be from both Jim and Jordan—written in a “we” voice, as is most of the book—but most will be from one or the other of us. This will allow us to share our individual writing styles and perspectives more freely and naturally.
Following Chuck Lorre’s lead on his Vanity Cards, posts will vary greatly in length. We want to keep things lively, but also provide you with important, useful, or interesting information and updates. Posts you’ll see will include:
science and research updates
news updates and commentary
answers to new questions that have been submitted
new anonymous citizen science stories and reports that have been submitted
other matters of interest and relevance
And of course, we’ll tag the posts by subject and type to make them easy to find.
Recent Developments as of early November
To otherwise catch you up on what we’re up to: we’ve had a chance to listen through the first chapter of the audiobook. Kaleo Griffith will be our Reader, and we think it sounds great.
We’ve also got our first event scheduled: on the very day the book launches, at Kepler’s Bookstore in Menlo Park (on El Camino Real, near the train station), we’ll be giving a talk at 7:00 PM. Just so you know, this event may fully subscribe early on, as this is our hometown bookstore, just a few miles from each of our homes. More details to follow.
We’re also working on a Reddit r/microdosing Ask the Authors Anything event for mid-January.
That’s it for now. We appreciate your stopping by and trust that if your life includes a microdosing journey, it is going well for you and those in your life.
